There’s A Place Where Monsters Are Real …

A wily Northern Pike will snap up your lure and head for the weeds, then race back under your boat. A peace-loving Lake Trout will nibble gently at your lure and float along behind your boat till you sense it’s there and try to reel it in. Then prepare for a tug-o-war. On light tackle, tiny Arctic Grayling perform like circus acrobats. You’ll need skill, patience, and a gentle hand to land that tiny Bluefish or a Whitefish. A Burbot on a jig will thrash up through a hole in metre thick ice like a prehistoric monster from the deep. Woohoo! This is fishing NWT style.
