4-6 venison sausages

Complete pancake mix

Yellow corn meal

Flat wooden skewers

Oil for deep frying

12-quart Dutch oven

Mix up pancake batter per package instructions but use half the amount of pancake mix. Substitute the other half with cornmeal.

Put a skewer into each sausage. Wipe the sausage dry so the mix will stick to it. Dip into the batter, and deep fry until golden brown. Serve with your favorite condiments.
