Residents and out-of-state visitors can explore 3,660 miles of DNR-designated routes and trails during two Free ORV Weekends June 10-10 and Aug. 19-20. Riders will not need to possess an ORV license or trail permit on these dates. It’s a great opportunity to experience the thrill of the ride or introduce friends to a weekend of scenic vistas, miles of uninterrupted trails and trail-side towns. Riders save up to $36.25.

Free ORV Weekend also lines up with the Summer Free Fishing Weekend June 10-11, when residents and non-residents can enjoy two back-to-back days of fishing without a license on both inland and Great Lakes’ waters. All fishing regulations still apply. Additionally, the DNR will waive the regular Recreation Passport entry fee that grants vehicle access to Michigan’s 103 state parks that weekend.
