Buck’s Top 10 Secrets for Finding Sheds

  1. Don’t go out too early or too late.
  2. Take binoculars or a shed dog.
  3. Walk slowly and walk a lot.
  4. Look at the terrain from different angles. Crouch down and scan. Stand on a log and scan.
  5. Hunt sheds where deer feed.
  6. Hunt sheds where deer sleep.
  7. Use a sharp stick to move leaves and corn stalks.
  8. Walk deer trails.
  9. Look where deer jump over an obstruction.
  10. If you don’t see deer sign, you are in the wrong place.
