‘Bobber’ Anne Orth in her own words
Working side by side with Dan Gapen, who is considered one of the best fishermen and tackle tinkerers of his generation, ‘Bobber’ Anne Orth quietly and humbly amassed a roster of accomplishments that landed her in both the Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame and National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame.
With a servant’s heart the size of a world-record smallmouth bass, Anne is the sum of her own blend of sweetness, farm-raised work ethic that never lets up, and steady resolve that stands up to anything the fishing business throws at her. It’s a good––and true––story that starts out in the August, 2019 issue of MidWest Outdoors magazine and continues here as we get to know Bobber Anne, in her own words.
