When using tip-ups, use black floor mats cut to two-foot squares. Cut a slit in the mat from the middle of one side to the center of the mat. At the center, cut a two-inch circle.

When setting the tip-up in a hole, slide the mat around it with the tip-up coming through the hole in the middle of the mat. When the flag goes up, slide the mat off and use it to kneel on.
