Trout of the Wisconsin Driftless Area
I have fished the heart of the Wisconsin Driftless area for over half a century. I caught my first large trout at age five. I have been enamored and driven to catch the next big trout ever since.
Brown trout are my favorite to catch because they are more instinctive and are harder to catch.
Brook trout are the most beautiful trout in Wisconsin. They have taken a serious decline in population the last ten years, and I no longer target them.
Trout don’t live in ugly places.
