State park entrance license free America 250 sticker

Make your history in South Dakota state parks! Celebrate America’s 250th by getting outdoors. Order your South Dakota State Park entrance license online by March 15 and receive a free, limited-edition America 250 – “Make Your History” sticker.

The sticker will be included with every park entrance license purchased online through Go Outdoors South Dakota by March 15, 2026. South Dakota residents—log in to your account to see resident pricing and license options.

Hunt for Habitat raffle

Tickets for the 2026 Hunt for Habitat raffle are now available for purchase. This is your shot at the hunt of a lifetime while directly supporting habitat in South Dakota.

There are new license options available this year, with a new Custer State Park Trophy Bison and Custer State Park Any White-tailed Deer package available.

Licenses available through the raffle include:

• Custer State Park Trophy Bison

• Custer State Park Trophy Bison and Custer State Park Any White-tailed Deer package

Tickets are $10 for residents and $20 for nonresidents, and there is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased. To purchase tickets, log into your Go Outdoors South Dakota account and click on the “Limited Draws” tab.

 

 

Airboats on ice

Conservation officers have a wide variety of tools to serve the public, including multiple different types of boats for different types of scenarios. Officers in the southeast recently took out the airboat to sharpen their skills on ice rescues using the boat on thin ice. The officers continually train so they are ready when emergencies arise.
