The Indiana Dunes is the number one attraction in the state of Indiana with over 3 million people visiting annually. As its official marketing agency, the team at Indiana Dunes Tourism is committed to creating one-of-a-kind, memorable visitor experiences. Visitors can enjoy amazing Lake Michigan charter fishing or go beyond Lake Michigan’s beaches to nearby smaller lakes and rivers throughout the Dunes. Either way, the Indiana Dunes Tourism team is there to welcome anglers and to ensure that each visit is extraordinary.
Tourists can plan their trip with a wide variety of useful information at indianadunes.com. The website contains information about activities ranging from fishing and cycling to shopping and dining and, of course, all there is to know about the best local accommodations.

For those who prefer a more personal touch, a small gift shop and hundreds of printed guides and handouts are available at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center where national park rangers and the Tourism team of destination concierges are ready to welcome you in person. They are also available 362 days a year to answer all questions, share information about programs or just to chat about the fishing or other area destinations.
The Visitor Center is the gateway to the Indiana Dunes and located just outside the Indiana Dunes State Park entrance at 1215 N. State Road 49 in Porter, Ind., and it’s a great place to begin your Dunes adventure. Visit indianadunes.com for more information.
