Take a Kid Fishing Derby at Traxler Park Lagoon, 600 N. Main Street, Janesville, WI 53545.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Janesville Recreation Division, Blackhawk Musky Club and It’s A Keeper Bait & Tackle sponsor this fun-filled, family event for kids ages 3-14. Please bring your own rod, reel, and bait. Activities include a kid’s casting contest, a biggest fish contest, and minnow races.
Concessions are available for purchase and a variety of prizes will be awarded. No license is required, but registration is requested.
