Inaugural Veterans Fishing Derby

Inaugural Veterans Fishing Derby at Gordy’s, 320 Lake Street, Fontana, WI 53125, from 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. (rain or shine).

Gordy’s Marina, Lake Geneva Fishing Club, Walleyes Unlimited USA, Fishing For Good Foundation are sponsoring the derby for up to 60 veterans. Fishing club members, and a few local fishing guides, will volunteer by providing their boats for fishing or touring the lake or by helping at the dock or on land with the festivities and Gordy’s will be providing lunch and soft drink beverages for all veterans and volunteers. There will be a multi-species fishing contest, including cash prizes, for the veterans.
