The USA is just about the greatest place in the world when it comes to ammunition selections for shotguns. Component availability is currently questionable much of the time, however.

As we enter the fall hunting season, dealers’ shelves—even with some load types limited at times—are currently well stocked with a wide variety of shotshell ammunition. Based on my knowledge and understanding regarding the ammunition manufacturing industry, shotshells of all types could see a return to limited supply.

As such, my suggestion is simple: If you need it, buy it now. Don’t hoard ammo, but do buy enough product to cover your needs for the full length of your clay target or hunting season.
