Rodney Miller & Jann Carl from Small Town Big Deal Seminars

Small Town Big Deal is a nationally syndicated television show that features stories of interesting people and events across the United States. It has been called a “celebration of the great stories of America.” Small Town Big Deal originally aired on cable station RFD-TV, where it grew into one of that station’s most popularly rated programs. With its syndication in markets from New York and Atlanta to Philadelphia and Dallas, the show now reaches over three-fourths of the nation. It airs in the majority of U.S. major TV markets and on over 150 local stations. In April 2017, the show completed a deal with the Armed Forces Network to be viewed by U.S. troops stationed abroad in over 170 countries. The show’s creator, Rodney Miller, grew up on a farm in southern Illinois and went on to become the CEO of two international tractor manufacturing companies before launching Small Town Big Deal in 2012. He was joined a year later by co-host Jann Carl, who left the red carpets of Hollywood as Entertainment Tonight’s senior correspondent and weekend anchor. Together, Jann and Rodney’s on-air chemistry and humor have captured the hearts of viewers with ratings that continue to strengthen with each season. Their show is also appreciated for its family-friendly focus, holding the prestigious Seal of Approval from the Parents Television Council.
