Crane Lake

Crane Lake-Adventures Start Here!

Visit the spectacular northern Minnesota/Ontario Boundary Waters and the BWCA wilderness, at the gateway to Voyageur’s National Park:  Crane Lake, Minn. Here, on the western edge of the Boundary Waters, there are no motor restrictions, so explore this water-based National Park with your own boat or pontoon (high horsepowers included!), or rent the watercraft of your choice from your choice of resorts, outfitters, and marinas at varying price points.  Crane Lake is “the place where you can do everything”, from houseboating, recreational boating and water sports, canoeing and kayaking, jet-skis, or just swimming.  Many campsites for tent camping located throughout the Park.  Fly-in fishing operators and canoe outfitters.  Local guides available. Incredible multi-species angling for walleyes and saugers, smallmouth and largemouth bass, northern pike, crappies, muskies, lake trout, lake sturgeon, and perch.  Great hiking, bird-watching, berry-picking, and wildlife viewing in a remote setting.  Snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in season.
